Group courses
Do the children have breaks during the group courses?
All group courses have a break in the morning to drink hot tea in one of our facilities. Children taking part in an all-day course also have a lunch break.
What should I give to my child for a full-day course?
We recommend giving your child sunglasses or ski goggles, a pack of tissues, lipstick/sunscreen and some money for a chocolate or drink.
Remember that ski pass and ski equipment with helmet are required.
Where do the children stop for lunch?
The children will stop once at one of the partner huts and the remaining days at our Selvi Kids Restaurant, located in the main building of the Skischool at Dantercepies Street 4.
How does the selection for the group courses work?
On the first day of the course, the children (except absolute beginners) go for a short run on the snow to check their skills and place them in the most suitable level.
What happens if I have the feeling that the chosen level is not suitable?
For such, please speak directly to the ski instructors on the slopes. If the ski instructors also feel that the level is not suitable, the participant will be re-classified.
What happens if my child no longer wants to take part in the group course?
In this case, we will convert the amount paid for the course into private lessons. The private lessons can be attended by the child or any family member. A refund of the course fee is only possible if a medical certificate from a local doctor is presented or if the notification is received at least 48 hours before the start of the course.

If the participants have the same skiing level, they are welcome to be in the same group. We ask you to communicate this preference directly to the ski instructors on the day of selection.

Private lessons
What is the difference between a private lesson and a group course?
With private lessons, you have a teacher who is there just for you.
In group courses, you are in a group with several participants of the same level.
How many hours of private lessons are advisable?
This depends on your level and the goals you want to achieve.
For beginners we recommend 3 consecutive hours, for those who want to improve to an already advanced intermediate level we recommend 2 consecutive hours.
For those who want to be guided, we offer the possibility to book a teacher for the whole day (9-16).
Can I attend the lessons with a friend?
Of course, the surcharge for the additional person is €14.00 per hour per person. We assume that the level of the participants is the same, otherwise the teacher will have to adapt to the less experienced participant.
