A) Since it was established in the 1930s, the Ski School Selva has contributed to finding new ski talents and produced many world champions (like Hans Nogler, Otto Glück, Felix Denicolò, Gerhard Mussner, Carlo Senoner, Mauro Bernardi, Alex Giorgi, Werner Perathoner and Peter Runggaldier). Some ex-italian national team members teach ot our school (Roby Bernardi, Giorgio Callegari, Oswald Demetz, Willy Demetz, Hermann Comploj, Katiuscia Demez, Leila Demez, Felix Denicolò, Christine Gruber, Siegfried Kerschbaumer, Ivan Mahlknecht, Gerhard Mussner, Karl Mussner, Robert Perathoner, Eugen Runggaldier, Hermann Runggaldier, Arnold Senoner, Enrico Senoner, Carla Valt, Miki Valt), passing on their experience of their time in competitive sport, including freestyle and crosscounty as well as downhill.

B) The Ski School Selva has won the Italian Ski School Championships 15 times.
C) Guinness Book of Records - The world's longest skis

The Ski School Selva set a new world record: 101 ski instructors covered the distance of 308 m on skis 104,8 m long, surpassing the previous record of the Swiss Ski School of Arosa with 64 ski instructors on skis 58 m long.
Technical data: The special skis were made from wooden strips by an Austrian firm. They have a width of 16 cm and a thickness of 6 cm. Mounting the 101 ski bindings on the skis required 12,500 screws.
