Last week I have been in Selva with my parents, brothers and friends for 6 days. Initially I didn’t wanted to have lesson, because I know from experience, that I (16 years) would be placed with ten-year-old children. I won’t have this, but the woman from the ski-school told me that there was a special class, named ‘Junior Club’, who was just for child’s from 13 – 18 years, who ski well. Finally I decide to take lesson for 3 days and after those days I could possibly decide to take another 2 days lesson.
Monday was my first lesson in Selva. My meetingsplace with my class was beside Café, Restaurant ‘Alaska’. I couldn’t find this place in one go, so to be honest, I don’t think the meetingsplace is easy to find for the first time. It should have been easier to find, when there’re were some sings.
After a while, I did find the right place and meeted the Junior Club conducted by ‘Didi’. I was placed in a class with just Italians and later with two other Dutch guys. Monday we have been in ‘Fun Park’, what was really cool! I can’t remember what we have done Tuesday, but I’m sure it was nice too. Wednesday, what should be my last day, we went skiing on a kind of ‘Bigfoots’. It was funny, but also tiring for your legs.
After this lesson, I deceide to take another two days lesson, what turned out a good decision later on.
Thursday we have skied the Sellaronda and we have been on the Marmolada. It was a beautiful trip with a gorgeous view on the top. It’s really worth it!
The last day, Friday, we have skied to ‘Seiser Alm’. It’s was nice there and we have had a pleasant last day. We couldn’t ski back, so we had to take the bus, where you could relaxed, do pleasant and chat with each other. After the bus trip, we had to ski a small piece for the last time this year, before we were home again.
In short it was a perfect week with fine wether, a beautiful skiing area, a nice ski instructor and pleasant classmates!
Didi, I would like to thank you again for this perfect week! Hopefully I see you next year again and otherwise I wish you all the best.
Of course concerns this for my classmates too.

PS. I still remember the names of the three big mountains: Sassalongu, 5-fingers and Groham!
PSS. Please change the leather of the gloves of the instructors, it reeks of pee. At the beginning I thought it was my instructor himself (Sorry Didi!), but it turned out a mistake later, because it were his gloves. | Posted: 05/03/2008 16:54:16 |

Grazie al mio maestro Diego ho imparato a sciare, è stato bellissimo anche perchè ho conosciuto Isabella che spero di rivedere il prossimo anno nell'ultima settimana di febbraio.
